5 Solutions to a Superhero's Attitude
Every guru will tell you that your success starts and begins with your attitude. A bad attitude always ends with the same results, but a good attitude is like having the powers of a superhero. Every superhero's uniqueness is grounded by having a positive attitude. Those that develop this power will be invincible to any villain of personal productivity and achievement.
1. Having a Good Attitude is Always a Choice
Having a good attitude isn't passed down like an inheritance, it's a choice that all of us have to make on a daily basis. While it may appear that there are individuals that always have a good attitude, most of the time it's because of a choice they made to remain positive and upbeat no matter the circumstances.
It doesn't take any effort to have a bad attitude, for many it comes very easy. However, a daily determination that no matter what happens you'll remain optimistic and full of confidence is what makes a superhero's attitude.
2. Your Attitude is Influence By Your Environment
While I was growing up my parents always use to reminded of who I was and how I should act in any situation. Their wisdom was to not allow my surroundings to determine how I should act or think. It seemed trivial at the time, but it has been priceless wisdom as I have grown older.
Who do you surround yourself with? What influence do they have in your life? Negative words and people can be villains to you having a good attitude. I have gracefully backed out of friendships and passed up on opportunities if they seemed to be rooted in a negative attitude. I know from personal experience that who you put around you will influence you for the better or for the worst. Who have you allowed to come close to you that steals the strength of a having a healthy attitude?
3. Healthy Body, Healthy Mind, Equals Healthy Attitude
I have discovered that when my body and my mind are in a healthy state, my attitude soars to levels of superhero powers. Exercise to my body and mind sends off chemicals that put me at a different level of thinking about life achievements and my own personal productivity. While I know I am far from being the athlete I would like to be, when I need a good attitude adjustment exercise to my body and mind cause me to think, see and respond more clearly. What could you do to exercise your body and mind?
4. What You Consume Effects Your Attitude
I made a decision a long time ago that I would forever be a student of information that cultivates a good attitude and mindset of strength and success. I am constantly consuming books, audio books, podcasts, seminars, conferences, websites, articles, autobiographies that help me to see from a pinnacle of possibilities.
If there is anything I could convince you to do is to add to your life toolbox information of success and possibilities. All around you are individuals that settle for negativity and what they appear to be normal, make sure you consume a diet that will propel you beyond just average.
5. Attitude is a Verb
An attitude is not an adjective that is descriptive about an individual, but a verb because it always is determined by what someone does. Your attitude good or bad will never change by thinking about it or even reading this blog post, it will only change when you DO something different than what you have before.
Do you feel like a superhero yet? OK, maybe not yet, but if you choose to make have a great attitude, be aware of you environment, be committed to a healthy body and mind and only consume those things that will build you up and not tear you down, then by your actions and grit you'll begin to see yourself with "yes" attitude that will separate you from your own legends of doom.
